I discovered that when you use an LED light, colored glass, and shoot with a slow shutter speed, you can create photos like this.

I discovered that while shooting at the fastest shutter speed that I was able to, I could capture small specks of water and even create a rainbow in my photo.

I discovered how much detail I can truly capture (more than I had expected).

I discovered that I much prefer using manual focus which I did not expect. I love how much creative freedom there is when using it.

I learned that even in a pitch dark basement, my camera can capture a photo with the small light source I provided.
