Mark Mawson- Mark is a really intresting photographer. He has a lot of commercial work but his best stuff is deffinatly his personal stuff. In everything he does you can see his love for color. Some of my favorites are his underwater stuff. They're perfect examples of how much attention he pays to all the color he has in his images, right down to the nail polish his model is wearing. I've tried underwater photography and it's really hard to get the light to do what I want. In his photographs the light is always in the perfect place in the composition. I also think it's really intresting the way he uses light as more of a second subject than just an element.
