Alexi Hobbs




I love Hobbs' use of color. Her bright yet neutral tones give a sense of calm to each of her photos. From her close-ups, to landscapes, to medium shots, each carries a particular sense of atmospheric color that fit with one another.     I do agree, Hobbs does have a nice use of color. You can see that it's one of Hobbs main goals, and not necessary a "big idea" that the work is trying to get across or challenge at, which is nice for a change.
