Andres Gonzalez's very diverse photography covers a wide range of subjects. The unique focal lengths and color temperatures differentiate each photo from one another, yet they each somehow fit into a whole as one looks through his body of work. Many of his photos feature one subject far away from the camera, and everything but that subject is blurred. Others are close-up portraits. His portraits showcase a very true, unglamorous picture of humanity. His locations are rural, snowy, and often feel very detached.
I think detached is such a good way to describe his images. (sorry this isn't a very long comment but you really hit the nail on the head describing his photos there).
