Thobias Fäldt lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. There seems to be a common theme of object vs nature throughout his work. While at first the two images paired together don't seem to be connected, after you look at them they start to make sense together. Like the red in the girl's shirt, hair and chair bring out the red in the stems in the plant.

I REALLY LOVE photographers who present images paired together. It brings so much of the viewer's perception into the mix, we make associations through participating with the photos and they interweave through our BRAINS, IT'S AWESOME
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty sweet! Some fo the plants/trees/objects almost turn into caricatures of the human subject in some pairings. It's a cool way to integrate humans with nature and even non living things.
