Sophy Rickett

Rickett is a london-based photographer who, in 1995, composed a series of work comprising self-portraits of the artist pissing in public places. I think visually, it's really powerful and (obviously) calls to question traditional gender roles and that jazz, which is interesting because women aren't all that oppressed anymore....or maybe I've just seen so much one-liner feminist art..anyway, the piece made me think and that's why I'm sharing it. Also, this artist has balls (pun).
