We've got a lot of really strong photographers in our class, and I know at least some of them will be seeking a career in cinematography. Conrad L. Hall was one of the most respected cinematographers of all time. His impressive resume includes American Beauty, Road to Perdition, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. American Beauty is one of my favorite films of all time, and anyone who has seen it can tell you how strikingly gorgeous it is. Below are some examples of great work by Mr. Hall:
