Ratcliffe- Weekly Artist Post

In Paul Gaffney's "We Make the Path by Walking" he must be using a low ISO because alot of his pictures are of landscapes and are high quality. Since a lot of his pictures are landscapes he also probably uses a closed aperture to create a sharper image. However, in a few of his photos its less about the quality because he wants to create a softer look to his photos, and i believe he may overexpose to get that effect.

"We Make the Path by Walking" shows that not all paths are easy to point out and see clearly. There is no one path. Paul wants to show that all paths can lead a wanderer to an adventure they just have to walk and find out! Some of his photos show paths, or roads, or hiking trails, while some of his other photos are of things along the path that have beautiful light and color.

I really like this idea of "We make the path by walking". I love to hike, and  take adventures, but sometimes i forget that not all paths are clear and that the best ones might be cluttered or hard to find! Also nature photography is my favorite type of photography, and his work are beautiful!
