Khalik Allah

Khalik Allah is a street photographer and filmmaker, based in Harlem. He doesnt just snap pictures of people on the street, he is building relationships with the people and the community.

I chose the first photograph because of his use of light on her skin and how shes almost glowing. I like how theres no background so theres nothing to distract you from the subjects beauty. I chose the last two because of his use of blur. I am drawn to photographs where the subjects are moving and blurred because they show the subjects movement
