Erin Copeland- Weekly artist post 2/4
Alec Soth
What first draws me to Alec Soth's work is the color and composition. Then, what I really enjoy about his work is the realness he conveys. He makes photos of real people and places, and although they are all run down and not perfect, the photos make them gorgeous. Im obsessed with photos of run down places and things that you wouldn't expect to be beautiful but when you look at them you realize that the shitty world around you can be amazing.
