Erin Copeland- Weekly artist post 1/4

Susan Worsham

Susan worshams photographs really draw my attention because of her use of color. I noticed she uses a lot of pink in her photos. My favorite photograph by Susan is the first image because of the color contrast between the pink and the green, and the use of cropping. Another thing Im drawn to about her work is that they give off a kind of weirdness. The objects, places, and people in them are kind of worn down, and the bright color and the worn down subjects create an amazing contrast. I like that the work is not in your face emotional, but they have such emotion in them, when you look at the subjects deeply.
