Susan Worsham is a photographer who grew up here in Richmond. Growing up, Worsham said she kept her photography to herself and it wasn't until college that she asked her first stranger if she could make a photo of this. Worsham has maintained this relationship for over a decade, making picture of her throughout the years. She tends to find a lot of inspiration from things in her life that she has experienced, such as death and encounters she has with certain people.
Worsham's photos feel very relaxed yet detailed. Going through her pictures makes me feel very a ease. When I see the colors in the photos, I see them as a true representation of that color. Whatever editing she does to her pictures creates a very relaxed and natural tone.
