1. The more light you have, the less sacrifices you have to make. I guess this goes without saying, but for me this was a super short sweet recapitulation of what I explored this weekend.
2. Noise isn't always the worst thing. In some pictures the noise looked horrifying. In other pictures, it turned my blacks purple in a way that I thought was pretty cool looking. If you have the means to light your subject, I'm sure noise isn't what you want. But if you don't... its not necessarily the end of the world either.
3. Photography is a lot of thinking.
