Gus Powell

Gus Powell is a New York based photographer, having spent most of his life in Brooklyn. Each of Gus' projects are based around the city, such as Lunch Pictures, The Lonely Ones, and Spanish Notebook. With each of his different projects he tries to capture another aspect of life in New York. I picked him because Im drawn to point and shoot photography, no elaborate set designs or models, just people in their natural habitat being captured in a photo.
