Helen Van Meene is a photographer living in the Netherlands.
Primarily young and female, her subjects look very stoic and even a bit eerie.
I’m incredibly drawn to her work because of the way she uses film and natural
light to enhance her work. Instead of relying on Photoshop to fix the problems,
she allows her subject’s imperfections and unusually odd looks to become a focus in the picture in a
way I find very beautiful.

I love how awkward and comfortable everyone looks in his photos, he's not trying to show them in a positive light, just a natural one. Everything is so simple.
