Laina Briedis is a young photographer born and living in New York who made her fame on Flickr and has had her work featured in several photography books and magazines. Her work deals a lot with nature and anonymity, which allows viewers to see themselves in her work and be transported to the beautiful landscapes where her photos were taken. She works primarily in 35mm and pays special attention to the colors of her photographs. One of the reasons why I really like her work is because of the rich colors and the idea of "careless youth" that the photos show. I really enjoy the color that her photos illustrate, like you mentioned Paige. I think that is what appeals me to them.
