I chose these images by photographer, Brooke Shaden, because of how each image is an entirely different world. Coming from Brooke, these worlds are usually rather eery and dark. Her goals? "To question what it means to be alive and to create new worlds."

I've actually had the opportunity to talk to Brooke Shaden in the past. She is truly one of my favorite photographers. She mixes paint and photo together to make a beautiful photographic image.
