Ellen Von Unwerth is a German photographer and director renowned for her erotic images of women - many of her images being of prominent actresses and models.

Whilst a large amount of her images are in black and white she does occasionally (and much more recently) use colour. Her images are largely used for fashion editorials and advertisements.
Her work appears to capture a moment whilst still making it apparent that the subject is aware of the camera - almost like capturing the moment of the shoot. I find this effect somewhat jarring, often the camera goes ignored in images and the viewer feels as if they are looking on.
