So I know most people have heard of Gregory Crewdson and seen his photography (If not... We talked about him in class and you should look him up.) but I think it is important to look at his work from a film makers stand point. I added a video that describes his work process which is VERY similar to how a film shoot would be run. He employs people to make sets, run lighting, act, and all of that other good stuff. As a film maker, it is sometimes hard for me to get excited about photography because of how simple the process can be. But Gregory Crewdson shows how elaborate processes and set ups can pay off in full and create some gorgeous imagery.
