Breaking my rules:
Earlier this week my mom sent me a link to a really incredible series of photos (that has now been made into a book) called Days With My Father, taken by Phillip Toledano. It's a truly remarkable series. Technically (what's in focus or not), emotionally, the spareness, the color palette, what is examined (the sole toothbrush in a glass), the story of it. Really amazing.
Days with my Father is amazing <3 I've been doing something similar with my grandfather.
ReplyDeleteohhhh! Phillip Toledano's series is amazing *o* i like how he uses shallow depth the field and cold colors most of the time. It sets his father apart; we get into his world thru those photos. lovelovelove
