Matt Moyer is a photojournalist whose work has been published in National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Guardian. When he is on assignment he completely immerses himself in his work and the place he is photographing. After graduating from college he moved to Cairo, Egypt, and stayed there for 3 years photographing the people, culture, and learning arabic. He left Egypt with a collection of work focusing on child labor in Egypt, the results of which won him several awards for photography.
I would love to do something like what he has done someday. I would love to live in a new place for an extended amount of time and completely immerse myself in the environment.
