David Mould, from Scotland I'm assuming, photographs landscapes throughout Scotland. He explains that he patiently plays the waiting game, camping out in the Scottish countryside for the right moment at sunrise, in the light, in the weather, a break in a storm... Although his landscapes are, well, landscapes, images of the scenery/atmosphere, they are what he sees them as and hopes for them to be for others: isolated, therapeutic, vibrant, and moody. His long exposures for waterfalls/running water help with his mission to make these scenes therapeutic. The softness/mistiness of the water, combined with surrounding colors, make those images feel mysterious, somewhat surrealistic and beautiful. A certain type of rowboat, usually half-sunk, keeps making appearances in multiple photos. I feel this puts the viewer in perspective: puts the scenery in proportion to the viewer or puts the viewer in character within the frame based on the boat's location in the scene/frame.
I wasn't able to even get a link location on images from his website or his Flickr account, so I had to use whatever I could find from Google...
