Liu Bolin

Liu Bolin is a Chinese photographer who does self portraits of himself, but he isn't the first thing you see in his photographs.
Hiding in the City No. 99 - Three Goddesses, 2012
Did you see him?

He and his assistants painstakingly paints himself to match the background of where he stands. I love how his work is more of a performance piece and the photographs is just documentation of it. Here's about a typical work day for Bolin:

Hiding in the City No. 96 - Supermarket No. 3, 2011
Hiding in the City No. 16 - People's Policeman

He's traveled to multiple countries to take his photographs.
Teatro alla Scala, 2010
Hiding in New York No. 4 - Ground Zero
I couldn't find his website, but he's on artnet and a bigger collection of his work is here
