Lee Jeffries
Lee Jeffries is from Great Britain. He began his photo career by taking photos of sporting events. One day he encountered a homeless girl and took her photo. Since, Jeffries has dedicated much of his photography to taking portraits of the homeless.
These pictures are all black and white and two feature homeless children. The detail and light become a major focus of these pictures because of the absence of color.
These photographs struck me because of there sharp detail. The portraits seem to glimpse into fleeting moments that can be captured again. The people in the photos seem to stare through the lens and into the viewers eyes.
