1.) Blake Fitch is a portrait photographer. Blake pays attention to detail in the people he photographs, so Blake makes sure that the quality of her photographs are really sharp and wonderful. In her project entitles Dress Rehearsal. She also blurs the background so that the girls are the main focus of the photo. She uses simple background that relate to the Disney princesses to draw focus to the children and princess costumes.
2.) Her subject matter is young girls. For Dress Rehearsal She picks young girls of her family and friends who are of age where girls start to become fascinated with the idea of princesses and make believe adventures. She also uses New England landscapes of her hometown.
3.) I love her photographs from Dress Rehearsal. The pictures are beautiful! I love Disney and i have always wanted to be a Disney princess, Ariel, so it is so cute to see these girls being able to "become" their favorite princesses. I also love how beautifully she captures the young girls eyes. It shows the emotion of the young girls and there is a glitter of happiness and excitement of the future and fantasy in their eyes as well.
