Erin Copeland- Weekly Artist post 11

Andreas Tsonidis

Andreas Tsonidis is a photographer and psychotherapist. His work is based off capturing his subjects emotionally interacting in the space they are in. He aims to capture the subjects individuality.

I was immediately drawn to his photos because the pops of bright colors surrounding his subjects. I appreciate that he draws from the subjects space they are in to capture their portrait. Being a psychotherapist and a photographer, he uses photography as a medium to bring out his subjects/patients. Not only are his photographs visually striking, looking into the peoples faces is emotionally striking as well.
