Rineke Dijkstra

Rineke Dijstra is a Dutch photographer who shoots portraits. What I admire most about her work is that she eliminates a lot of unnecessary information and focuses on the subject's expression and body language for the most part. It seems that her preferred subject is a person that is exhausted from some strenuous activity. She has a series of bull fighters after they've finished a bull fight and mothers after giving birth.
